Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of the poetics of one of the oldest genres of Chinese literature - parables. In the process of aspect analysis, specific features of the Chinese parable were revealed: a short form of narrative, psychology, philosophical potential. It is revealed that the genre of parables in Chinese literature is very close in structure to wise tales: the plot develops dynamically, there is a threefold principle of repetition of events. It is noted that the names of Chinese parables focus the recipient's attention on the main problem, the solution of which will be proposed in the content of the work. It is this form of names of the parable that attracts the reader's attention, because it contains a cognitive component. The artistic space of Chinese parables is clearly defined, as well as the following spatial locations are identified: mountains, rivers, seas, lakes, streams. The characters of the parables live in harmony with the nature that surrounds them.  Some Chinese parables have a clear indication of the number and time of time: "from morning to morning", "Many nights stayed over the book" and more. It should be noted that in the structure of the Chinese parable is usually generalized life experience or wisdom on behalf of the characters of the parable, rarely - a narrative inference. The author of the article thoroughly analyzed the basic structural elements of the genre of the parable: the name, figurative system, composition and essence of the instructive content of the work, determined the functionality of the genre. The object of study in the Chinese parable was also the direct language and features of its modeling in the work. It has been found that the parables have always been and remain part of ancient Chinese culture, because they were used to teach and transmit experience. The Chinese parable cultivates images that were traditional for Chinese myth-making: images of the Dragon, the Agriculture. In the vast majority of parables, the main character is an old and wise man, often he formulates an instructive conclusion of the parable.
