Abstract

Tomashevsky V. V. Aesthetic culture as a psychological and pedagogical category.

The article is devoted to investigation of the aesthetic culture in social and historical aspect from antiquity to the present, of main stages of its foundation and modern comprehension of this conception in native science literature. Aesthetic culture is considered as a factor in the formation of harmoniously developed personality, changes in value orientation of human needs on the whole strategy of man's relationship with the world.
