The basic terms, guided by practices that teachers can successfully build critical thinking through the use of the method of discussion in teaching history, were defined in this article. This process includes teacher’s understanding of characteristics of critical thinking, possibility of discussion to achieve set goal, the time of its conduction and summary; the ability to direct scholar process along the way of issue, activity and fresh thinking.
