The phenomenon of online dependency on students

Abstract

The article analyzes the impact of the Internet on modern youth
(student). The causes and consequences of Internet addiction are highlighted.
Attention is drawn to the fact that the use of the broad opportunities of the
Internet in everyday life of a person has not only great advantages, but also can
have certain negative consequences, in particular, the emergence of Internet
addiction. Therefore, it is necessary to seek methods and means of preventing
and combating this addiction. Also, the results of the empirical study of Internet
dependency among students of the I course of the Kryvy Rih State Pedagogical
University of Psychology and Pedagogical Faculty are presented.
