A novel by A. Golden «Memoirs of a Geisha» as stylization under non fiction literature

Abstract

The article analyzes the novel by A. Golden "Memoirs of a Geisha", which is stylization under non fiction literature, which is characteristic of the literature of the globalized world. In fact, it is a work of fiction, a confession-telling novel of the main character of Saiuri-san who has made a difficult journey from a little girl who was sold by her old father and who has made a long way to become a geisha, through comprehension of traditional Japanese culture to emigration on the slope of the United States of America and a difficult upsurge into American reality, difficult and contradictory searches of her own happiness and becoming a mother.
