Philosophy of art as a sub-dominance of neo-thomism and personalism

The paper proposes to put aesthetic ideas in the context of the Christian philosophy of XX c., namely neo-thomism and personalism. The author claims that this enables ones to formulate an renewed philosophy of art by way of actualisation in these philosophical movements the problems of the sources of the creative work, a prognostic function of the art and responsibility of an artist for his work.
