Author Guidelines
1. Thematic focus. The journal’s thematic scope encompasses the results of research conducted within specialities A1 Educational Sciences, A4 Secondary Education (by subject specialisations), and A5 Vocational Education (by specialisations), focusing on current and prospective issues in pedagogical theory and practice, the organisation of the educational process, teaching, upbringing, vocational training, the development of educational systems, and contemporary educational technologies.
2. Publication Timeline. The journal is published twice a year. Articles are published within the scheduled issues in accordance with the editorial timetable after the manuscript has successfully passed all stages of editorial processing, peer review, and acceptance for publication. In order to ensure the prompt dissemination of research findings, articles may also be made available on the journal’s website in advance of the release of the full issue.
3. Dissemination of Texts
Educational Dimension is a fully open-access and free-of-charge journal for both authors and readers. The submission, peer review, editorial processing, and publication of articles involve no fees whatsoever, including manuscript submission fees and Article Processing Charges (APC). This publishing model covers peer review, scholarly and literary editing, publication, technical support, archiving of materials, and the provision of immediate open access to the full-text versions of articles.
The journal is an electronic scholarly media publication. It is disseminated via the Internet through the publication of full-text articles on the journal’s official website. Electronic versions of issues and articles are also submitted to the V. I. Vernadskyi National Library of Ukraine.
4. Submission of Publications
Articles accepted for publication must be prepared in Microsoft Word or a compatible format, using Times New Roman, 14 pt, with 1.5 line spacing. The reference list and in-text citations must be formatted in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015. The length of an article must be no fewer than 10 pages (20,000-25,000 characters). The languages of publication are Ukrainian and English. Articles in other languages may be accepted for publication as an exception.
In order to submit manuscripts to the journal, authors must register on the journal’s website.

Each article must be accompanied by author information provided in both Ukrainian and English, including surname, first name, patronymic, ORCID iD, place of work, position, academic degree, academic title, contact address, email address, and contact telephone number.
5. Structure of the Article
The article should include the following structural elements:
Introduction - substantiation of the relevance of the problem, its significance in the contemporary scholarly and educational context, and the general formulation of the research problem.
Analysis of Recent Research and Publications - presentation of the current state of research on the problem, the principal scholarly approaches, contradictions, and aspects requiring further investigation.
Aim and Objectives of the Study - clear formulation of the aim of the article and the research objectives.
Materials and Methods - description of the research design, its theoretical foundations, the source base or empirical material, the principles of sample formation, the methods of data collection and analysis, the instruments used, as well as the research procedure.
Theoretical Framework (if applicable) - presentation of the conceptual provisions, theoretical approaches, and scholarly ideas underpinning the study.
Results - consistent presentation of the main findings of the study.
Discussion - interpretation of the findings, their comparison with the results of other studies, and identification of their scholarly novelty, practical significance, and possible limitations.
Conclusions - summary of the findings in accordance with the aim and objectives of the study, as well as an outline of prospects for further research.
Adherence to Ethical Standards (if applicable) - information regarding compliance with ethical standards in the course of the study, in particular in work with participants, personal data, questionnaire results, interviews, observations, or experimental procedures; in cases of substantive use of AI, information should also be provided on the relevant tool, the purpose of its use, and the nature of its application.
- List of References Used - a list of the sources used in the article and formatted in accordance with DSTU 8302:2015.
- References - a transliterated list of the sources used.
The References block is provided separately after the list of references used and reproduces all entries included therein. Sources presented in English are repeated without changes. Sources in Ukrainian are transliterated into the Latin alphabet. Sources in other languages, except English, are presented in English or in Latin transliteration.
When preparing the References block, the following requirements should be observed:
- Each bibliographic entry must correspond to a source included in the list of references used.
- The English translation of the title of an article, book, journal, collection, or conference proceedings should be provided in square brackets immediately after its transliterated title.
- Sources in English are not transliterated but are reproduced in their original form.
- Names of cities should be given in full in the Latin alphabet, for example: Kyiv, not K.
- Information on volume, issue, number, pages, and other publication details should be given in English: Vol., Issue, No., p., pp.
- All authors of a source should be indicated in the reference entry without сокращing their number.
- For electronic resources, the date of access must be indicated.
- At the end of the bibliographic entry, the language of publication should be indicated in square brackets.
- If a source has an official English-language title, it is this title that should be used in the References block.
- All entries in the References block should be arranged in alphabetical order according to the Latin alphabet.
For the transliteration of Ukrainian-language sources into the Latin alphabet, the following resource may be used: http://ukrlit.org/transliteratsiia
In transliterated entries, the symbols // and – should be replaced with commas, and English quotation marks “ ” should be used instead of « ».
6. Abstract, Keywords, and Transliteration of References
Each article must be accompanied by abstracts in Ukrainian and English of 1,800 characters excluding spaces, keywords in Ukrainian and English (5-10 words), and a transliterated list of references.
7. Article Formatting Requirements
The UDC index should be placed in the upper left corner, while the upper right corner should contain the author’s first name and SURNAME, academic degree, academic title, position, place of work, city, country, ORCID iD, and email address. After one blank line, the title of the article should be centred and presented in capital letters. After another blank line, the abstract in Ukrainian and the keywords should be provided. These elements should be formatted with single line spacing. After one further blank line, the main text of the article should follow, structured in accordance with the established requirements and justified. The heading “List of References Used” should be centred. At the end of the article, all author information, the title of the article, the abstract, the keywords, and the References block should be provided in English.

All submitted materials must comply with the following requirements:
- the author has read and agrees to the journal’s Publication Ethics policy;
- the material is submitted in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF format;
- the submitted material presents the results of scholarly research, contains elements of scientific novelty, and is of academic interest;
- the submitted material is the author’s original work and does not violate the principles of academic integrity.
