History of the journal

The scientific journal "Pedagogy of Higher and Secondary Schools" was founded in 2000. The founder is the Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.

Until 2019, the journal was published under the title "Pedagogy of Higher and Secondary Schools" (vol. 1-52). Starting with the 2019 volume, the new series of the journal is published under the title "Educational Dimension".

Editors-in-chief of the journal "Pedagogy of Higher and Secondary Schools": Volodymyr Konstantinovich Buryak (vol. 1-32), Zinaida Pavlovna Bakum (vol. 33-48), Tetyana Alekseevna Doronina (vol. 49-50), Vita Anatolyevna Gamanyuk (vol. 51-52).

Open Access Policy

The journal practices a policy of immediate open access to published content, supporting the principles of free dissemination of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge and information for the general social and scientific progress.

The editorial policy is based on the principles of: objectivity and impartiality in the selection of articles for publication; demandingness for the quality of the scientific product; mandatory review of articles; collegiality in making decisions on recommending an article for publication; intolerance to violations of the principles of academic integrity; accessibility and efficiency in communicating with authors; compliance with copyright and related rights; compliance with the conditions prescribed in the Certificate of State Registration; free publication for the author of the article (information and publishing support of the publication, provided it is accepted for publication, is carried out with the support of the editorial board and at the expense of the university).

Review process

Each publication is assessed by the editor-in-chief and, if the main requirements are met, the text is sent for review. Each publication is assessed by at least two independent reviewers. At least one of the reviewers is affiliated with an institution different from the author's country. The double-blind review process is used, where neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other.
