Abstract

The symbolic images emerged by evolution of an archaic society have served as the basis for some new images on the later stages of social development. Being combined these images constitute an exotic symbiosis. The paper considers an old Ruthenian legend of Capra which reveals some traces of such a formerly unified complex image.
