Abstract

The paper analyses the problem of being, which is central for the Aristotle’s theoretical philosophy and fundamental for the whole subsequent Western metaphysics. The author claims that although Aristotle himself lacks an integrated conception of being, just his ideas exercise a decisive influence on the further conceptual determination of the key metaphysical terms
