The paper is devoted to the critical analysis of a thematic and metaphysic relatedness of two conceptions fundamental for a philosophy of music — the ones by F.W.J. Schelling and the Pythagoreans. The author concludes that both these conceptions are totally beyond antropology, i.e. they are of an onto-cosmological character.
