Abstract

The paper outlines some particular characteristics of the phenomenon of freedom as a necessary principle of social justice, determines essential features of freedom and the area of its functioning. The author stresses that all the modern directions in the analytic political philosophy, being based on the key ideas of Enlighteners, pay considerable attention to the formulation of the conditions of freedom and methods of its practical realization.
