Abstract

The article presents an analysis of stylistic figures and tropes, which English poet and humanist of the XVI century Edmund Spenser uses in the cycle of sonnets «Amoretti». The author explores the importance of stylistic devices to a holistic understanding of the poetic manner of E. Spenser.
