Abstract

The paper analyses the so called phenomenon of «Russian Plato» and considers the role of this phenomenon in the modern historical-philosophical investigations in Ukraine. The author points out the one-sidedness of this approach and proposes to come back to the more liberal and manifold understanding of Plato.
