Colloquial lexicon in the texts of Ukrainian postmodern prose

Abstract

The article presents functional-pragmatic potential of colloquial vocabulary in the texts of Ukrainian postmodern prose and describes the means of its realization. The condition of choise of the stylistic ways of lexicon by the specific of postmodern prose is proved in the article; the connection between lexical-stylistic ways and the main principles of postmodern prose is also retraced there.
