Use of information technology in the system of higher education

Abstract

The article discusses the rationale and State of introduction of information technologies in the educational system of higher education. The use of multimedia technologies can increase the intensity and efficiency of the learning process; creates conditions for self-education allowing to carry out the transition to continuing education; in the conjunction with telecommunication technology solves the problem of access to new sources of diverse in content and form of presentation of information. Analysis of the results of several studies on the impact of the visibility on speed perception of the information is allowed to determine the benefits of multimedia learning, based on hearing and visual perception of information that provide affordable, fast and efficient absorption of the material due to the multimedia of filing information. For the implementation in the educational-training process information technologies require appropriate highly trained professionals. It is difficult to bridge the gap obtained in the field of education, knowledge, and skills of all the growing needs of a production nature without the use of information and communication technologies.
