Abstract

The article substantiates the psychological aspect of cognitive
activity as personality traits, presents the characteristic of the component
content of its structure (cognitive independence, initiative, curiosity, cognitive
interest), and reveals the essence of the dynamism of cognitive activity and
levels of its manifestation. An attempt is made to create a holistic
psychological model of the phenomenon of cognitive activity as a
personality trait. Attention is focused on identifying the optimal
conditions for the formation of cognitive activity as a subjective
personality trait.
